He manages patients with gallbladder stones, Appendix, and management of umbilical hernias, inguinal hernias, large abdominal wall hernias, and recurrent hernias. Dr. Pinak Dasgupta is a senior Surgeon in Chennai with the vast experience in complex operations. He is an expert in Complex Colorectal Cancer and Complex Hernia Surgery Being Multilingual, patients coming from North and Eastern Indian States feel very comfortable expressing their symptoms and also find peace of mind in sharing their post-surgical issues in their own language. Previously, he worked at Fortis Healthcare New Delhi, and Narayana Heal at Guwahati Assam. Dr. Pinak Dasgupta has studied MBBS followed by MS in General Surgery from Govt. Guwahati Medical College in 2007. He achieved a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from GEM Hospital Coimbatore in 2012 followed by the fellowship program in Colorectal Surgery from The Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India. He has been granted a fellowship and Gold Medal in Interventional Endoscopy from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons. He has also joined various training Laparoscopy in 2008, Ethicon Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in 2011, and Ethicon Endo Hernia in 2013. Dr. Pinak Dasgupta is an active member of the Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India, the Association of Surgeons of India, and the founding member of the Association of Surgical Gastroenterologists of Assam. He Can speak fluently in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengla, and Assamese.
